Here is a P-41 in "Flying Tiger" markings. While not AAF, they are still claimed by America.
This one was owned by Rudy Frasca at the time of these photos.

P-40 restored by Bill Prior of Michigan. It had been in a kid's playground, and the wings had been cut off by torch. The skin had all kinds of names scratched in the aluminium. This was back in 1980, pics are from 1981.

This P-40N is owned by Sue Parish, at the Kalmazoo Air Zoo, in Michigan. Sue was a WWII WASP and flew this P-40 regularly until she retired it around 1990-1. She contacted the Smithsonian Institution about the correct shade Desert Tan faded to pink. After getting the correct color she painted it, and put a female Shark's mouth & eye on it.

It was well known on the circuit.
